Don Albrecht is one of the Elders of Calvary Chapel Windsor.
He began serving in ministry in 1971, having been in his current role since May of 2025.
I grew up in Northern California with my parents, one brother, and one sister. I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Design from San Jose State University and a Master of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University. I’ve enjoyed two careers. The first was with Lockheed Martin for 23 years, where I worked as a welder, computer programmer, data analyst, and then data systems architect. The second was with Colorado State University, where I provided computing and network support for Morgan Library and several other administrative departments.
I grew up in the church and placed my trust in Jesus Christ at an early age, being led to the Lord by my father! At age 20, my walk with Jesus matured when I began attending Los Gatos Christian Church, a non-denominational church, whose pastor faithfully taught verse by verse through the Bible.
This is also where I met my wife, Bette, who worked at the church office. We got married in October 1980. We have three adult children, Kim, Bobby, and Brandi. Each has a family of their own. Our four grandchildren are Reyna, Allie, Link, and Kaden.
We have taught Sunday School and Adult Bible classes for many years and hosted various small home groups. Betty and I began visiting Calvary Chapel a month before Pastor Scott's and Nancy’s passing. Since then, we’ve become involved in various Calvary Chapel activities. We are grateful to be part of this dynamic fellowship of believers.
